HRx High Resolution RecordingsReference Recordings introduces their HRx format. Available on DVD-R data discs, the HRx recordings are bit for bit copies of the original Reference Recordings 176.4/24-bit digital masters. Straight from the masters to your music server. We at AudiophileMusic.net strongly believe this is the future of high end audio. As bandwidth and storage get cheaper, and high resolution DACs become more plentiful, these types of recordings will become more plentiful.

Chesky Records
Chesky Records offers two new 24/192 recordings. The Larry Coryell Organ Trio and The Jazz Side of the Moon (yeah that's right) are two new limited edition releases in Chesky Record's 192/24 series. They are one to one copies of the original master discs. The .wav files can be copied to your computer's hard disk and played back through, say an M2Tech hiFace (see below) streaming to a 24/192 capable DAC. They will not play on a DVD audio or CD player.

M2Tech hiFace USB Adapter

B:there records sets a new standard in combining straighforward, minimalist yet sophisticated recordings of the highest quality. AudiophileMusic.net is dedicated to promoting high resolution music, and the gear that helps us connect to that music in a meaningful way. Music for us is more than background noise. For some of us its a means of escape from the day's events. For others it is therapy, a way to commune with our soul.

AudiophileMusicDownloads (AMD for short) has partnered with high performance audio retailer Tweek Geek to help equip you with everything you need to play back high resolution audio files the way they were meant to be heard. The people at Tweek Geek are friendly, unpretentious and offer great advice whether you are just getting started with high quality music playback, or if you're an old crusty dude from the days when vinyl was king (and still sounds great by the way!).
